Overview

What the work visa is for.

Most work visas fall under the UK points-based system. The main route is the Skilled Worker visa, which needs a job offer from an employer approved by the Home Office and a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for the role.

The Health and Care Worker visa is a version of the Skilled Worker route for eligible roles in the NHS and adult social care. Other routes include Global Talent, Graduate and Temporary Worker visas. We help you understand which one applies.

FAQ

Work visa questions.

Cannot find your answer? Email replies@myimmigration.uk or message us on WhatsApp.

Can you find me a job or a sponsor?

No. We do not provide recruitment services. Once you have a job offer, we help you understand the visa requirements and prepare your application.

Can my partner and children come with me?

On most work routes, yes. Each family member makes their own dependant application, and we can prepare these alongside yours.

What if I change employer?

You usually need to make a new application with a new Certificate of Sponsorship before starting the new job.
